This year marks our 8th EMPTY BOWLS event. For most of us, soup at a dinner table represents home and security. For our clients, a dinner table and soup may be out of reach. This evening brings together caring supporters from 12 cities in the San Gabriel Valley to enjoy soup provided by the generosity of local restaurants.
Your ticket purchase of EMPTY BOWLS will help us change the future for a homeless family. Every day Family Promise of San Gabriel Valley (FPSGV) takes calls from families who, by virtue of a lost job or a rent increase or a sudden illness, are suddenly unable to sustain the security of a home. FPSGV’s task is to reach out and provide a path to a new home for a family in need.
